Qingdao City is located at the beach of Yellow Sea in Shandong Peninsular. It’s one of important economic centers and opening coastal cities in China. The city is famous for culture and countless beautiful scenic spots. There are 24 different styles constructions in old districts, more than 200 villas in Eight Passes Area which was honored as "Museum of Architecture.” Xiaoqingdao Park floats in the bay of Yellow Sea. In history this park was a navy base for military. The Eight Passes Area “Worldwide Architecture Museum” with more than 200 kinds different styles villas. Governor Building is one of three famous royal style Germany Buildings in Qingdao.

QINGDAO TOUR- AFTER

From an architectural point of view, the city of Qingdao is almost like visiting a museum. There are 24 different styles of architecture, definite European influences, and more than 200 villas in the Eight Passes area. You'll see all the architectural highlights on this full day tour. Xiaoyushan Hill Park is your first stop, with excellent views of the bay, beach and South District. The park is a classical Chinese garden with a three-story, octagonal building at the summit. You’ll take in the view and receive an orientation about the local architecture. Next stop is the Governor House with its distinctive, royal German style that dominated the city at the end of the 19th century. A tour of the house is included at this stop. After lunch you'll visit another stately residence, a villa built for the German governors. The Granite Mansion, known locally as Huashilou, is a blend of Roman and Gothic styles. This grand house is one of the 200 villas that grace Qingdao, mostly in the Eight Passes area. This tour ends in the heart of town, at May 4th Square. Located between the buildings and the bay, this square is comprised of three parks and will provide a restful end to your busy day.
